Grow Your Small Business with Target Forward Founders & SoLa!

About the Program

In partnership, SoLa welcomes you to apply for the Target Forward Founders Accelerator Program. The goal is to support entrepreneurs increase retail knowledge, gain access to retail experts, and score industry-leading resources to scale their companies for success.

Program Dates & Time

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm every session

Business/Founder Eligibility

  • Founder: Must be 18+

​​

  • Categories: Baby, Beauty, Food and Beverage, Health and Personal Care, Home, Household Essentials, Pets

​

  • Sales Channels: Direct-to-consumer (DTC) online, in specialty stores or have limited brick-and-mortar presence(<50 stores)

​​

  • Capabilities: Limited manufacturing and supply chain capabilities

​

  • Revenue: Lifetime revenue between $5,000-$500,000 (ideally)

​​

  • Employees: Less than six employees (ideally)

All participants will gain access to the following resources:

  • Target network of industry-disrupting speakers (Target team members and retail experts)

​​

  • Small Group on-site Office Hours

​​

  • Retail Action Plan (25+ immersive digital retail resources to navigate mass retail & business)

Post program, up to 10 applicable brands will have:

  • End of-year pitch competition (Pitch Forward) for the opportunity to win up to $30,000

​​

  • 8 weeks of personalized mentorship (1:1/Small group)

​​

  • Personalized feedback on Retail Action Plan (25+ immersive digital retail resources to navigate mass retail & business)

​​

  • Access to Mintel retail data

​​

  • Supplier Diversity Certification reimbursement

​​

  • End of year introduction to Target buyer
